The venue for the much anticipated coastal BBI rally has been curiously shifted from the historic Tononoka grounds to Mama Ngina Waterfront Park. The announcement was made on Friday by ODM leader Raila Odinga just hours to the commencement of the meeting scheduled for Saturday, January 25.
While making the announcement, Raila alluded to a consultative meeting between him and the coastal leaders which allegedly resolved to move the rally to a more spacious ground. He further called upon Kenyans to maintain peace before and during the forum.
