Celebrations took centre stage at the Nairobi-based Kenya High School after it emerged the top school in the country securing 76 straight A’s.
According to the school principal, Flora Mulatia said their secret of success has been commitment to God and teamwork.
“Our top-secret is a commitment to good and we all worked as a team. We were praying expecting and we were unsure that God will do this for us,” said Mulatia.
“The 2019 class was down to earth, disciplined, and trusted in God, it is a class that didn’t give us any headache their commitment was great
Regarding the top girl Maryanne Baraza, Mrs Mulatia said her humility and teamwork won her the best grade.
“Maryanne Baraza You never notice her, she was very humble and a quiet worker. This class worked as a team,” she said.
Mulatia also chided that they were expecting all the 315 girls to score straight A’s but the 76 A’s they got is still a miracle.
