The employment court has quashed the appointment of former Othaya MP Mary Wambui as the Chairperson of National Employment Authority(NEA).
In his verdict, Justice Onesmus Makau on Friday said the appointment was irregular and she doesn’t meet the qualifications.
Justice Makau also issued a permanent injunction barring Ms Wambui from being appointed to the post.
Wambui who was nominated by President Uhuru Kenyatta faced a backlash when Kenyans questioned her appointment and Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja went to the court seeking to have the politician barred from taking over the new office.
